MAGNIFICENT!!! Everything's so detailed and well drawn! Especially the face and hands (which are the most difficult things to draw for me). My fave part would be the EYES. They are so beautiful and detailed and life-like. She really looks like she's strong and powerful and in deep thought.
I try to be sparse with comments, because I know I'll write a sodding Iliad of praise if I do start, but... the TEXTURE, the light, the coloring, the DETAIL, the ideas... Pictures like these make me all warm and happy inside. I agree with Treyos that the left thumb seems a bit off, or rather the index finger seems off, but for the picture as a whole I'm nothing but awestruck. Fantastic work.
oh, i am also using faber but may be i am not good in using it. I wonder what do you do? I admire you so much. I hope i can draw better than now to do significative something. And...uhm... nice to meet you. Can i make friend with you?
Haha I actually don't use color pencils much anymore ^^ I prefer to color on Photoshop. I'm still an art student, currently studying sequential art, and scraping away hoping to land a good job in comics soon. Sure you can friend me. I just checked out your gallery too, and you've got some pretty amazing traditional portraits yourself; it's all much more realistic than mine, but I love it!
sorry for relying late. Thanks for you like my portraits. But I prefer to unrealistic. So i'm really really like your art. I hope one day, i can read your comic. Now i have to choose a university. I decided to attend architecture university but first i have to pass a hard hard test. I wonder i can do it? ...But what i really want to become a professional deck and animation director. And when i talk to my parent and may friend who don't know how to paint, they though i am crazy. Sorry for said too much. Only i'm so stress.
